A New Way to Read the Bible
I love the Bible. Its a fantastic story that also has the power to change your life. But, I do admit, even as a pastor, it can sometimes get tedious to sit there reading it. I know its actually a series of letters all put together in a single volume, and I try to break up my reading accordingly. Still, when you’re doing serious study, it can be difficult in this media drive, fast food mindset culture of ours to focus.
So, here comes the Sourceview Bible. What a great idea! Its the Bible in it’s full text, presented in a manuscript format such as a play or movie production would be done. It lists the characters speaking, gives the lines, and other helpful information. It makes reading the Bible smooth and gives it a fun, fresh perspective. I’m excited to get my copy when it comes out, and I hope you’ll check it out too!

This could be a lot of fun for families to use going through the Bible, or for small groups, or for youth and teens as you read through stories. I intend to use a few copies in the children’s ministry once they’re out, to have the kids ‘act’ out the stories. This is a great presentation of the Bible, and I am very excited about it!
Have a great one,
DK
Rachel Raydo told me about this Bible while she was in Hawaii. Apparently YWAM is recommending this Bible too.
