Why Are Fire Trucks Red?
The receptionist here at Church shared with me something her mother had written long ago, and she just recently found while doing some cleaning. It was so funny, I just had to share it with you! In honor of Judy’s mom, enjoy!

Why are fire trucks red?
Well, fire trucks have four wheels and eight men. And 8 +4 are 12.
There are 12 inches to a foot. A foot is the length of a ruler. Queen Elizabeth is a ruler.
The Queen Elizabeth is the largest ship on the seas*. Seas have fish. Fish have fins, the fins fought the Russians. The Russians wear red. And of course, fire trucks are always rushin!
If you think this is wild, you ought to here some people try to explain why they are not attending worship services and Sunday School!
* In the interested of journalistic integrity, the Queen Elizabeth is no longer the largest ship sailing the seas!
